8 Tips to Treat Your Clothes with Care and Respect

One of the issues most common that come up when I talk with someone about men’s fashion is about quality and durability of the parts of certain brands and the shops, but the most impressive is the disparity of opinions, with some people saying that brand X is great and the other criticizing the same!A lot of those experiences, be they good or bad, has as its biggest variable, the way the person uses and takes care of their clothes, because in the majority of cases, organized and caring has little to complain about, while the lax live talking about how unhappy they are with their purchases of clothing.

8 Tips to Treat Your Clothes with Care and Respect

If you are in the class of those who think the clothes too fragile, maybe you should rethink the way it is, so here are some tips to respect and take care of what is within your wardrobe:

1 – Avoid the tie pieces that are fragile or very structured on the waist

If the blazer is getting hot to the point you have to take it off, hang it in the arm, place it on the bag postman or fold it carefully and store in the backpack. Tie a piece made with good quality fabric and delicate at the waist is a crime, in addition, many of these pieces have lining and interlining, which can lose their shape and ruin the trim. Show a little more respect for the work of our friend the tailor, and be careful!

2 – Let the clothes need to rest

As well as the leather shoes that should not be used two consecutive days in order to let your leather to “breathe”, the clothes must also be an interval of at least 24 hours between one use and another. In the mean time, its fibres go back to the place and the moisture drawn from your body evaporates.

3 – Do Not save right away

Just use a wool coat and you have already saved in the closet? None of this, give it time! For the previous tip to work, you must let the piece take the air, and, many times, this simple attitude is enough to take away strong odors such as cigarette smoking or frying.

4 – Not all clothes go in the hanger

We know that nothing is more practical than the hanger in time to get rid of those clothes which are by the way, but parts too heavy and less structured, such as zephyr [cloth, and blouses with V-neck tend to be completely deformed when hanging, so get comfortable with the idea of folding them whenever you save them.

5 – Make the bar or fold, there is no third option

The jeans was too long should have your bar made or folded, leaving it dragging on the floor is not an option, serving only to make the fabric horribly esgarçado and frayed.

6 T – Shirts as basic as underwear

Use a basic t shirt underneath that shirt expensive you can avoid make it dirty and leave marks yellowish sweat or deodorant (some of them are worse than the sweat!) in the armpits. So you can use the outfit longer, and without subjecting it to multiple washes.

7 – Undo the knot of the tie

We have given this tip before, but it never hurts to repeat that the tie should be saved in the vertical (preferably) and with the knot undone so that do not lose their shape or get creases. To do this even after you get finished from that marriage washed down the champagne and music.

8 – Do the grooming before being fully dressed

Shaving and applying products in your hair or on the skin can mean splashing, and hair fallen about her suit, dearest, or your shirt preferred, therefore, before you dress them, take care of your beauty routine, clean appropriately, and only after sight of the most important pieces such as shirt, tie, blazer, jacket, or mesh.

…….

The opinion of the author:

The same attitudes more only serve to increase the durability of the clothes and ensure that your trim will continue flawless. Was already more relaxed on this subject, but I have noticed a considerable increase in the useful life of my clothing items, after that I started to take more care with what you use on a day-to-day.

Note: the photo featured the young man hit the nail to the bend of the pants too long, but missed miserably when they decided to tie the classic blazer prince of Wales at the waist.
